How to Play
1. Pick your numbers
Choose five different numbers from 1 to 70.
2. Pick your Mega Ball
Select one number (the “Mega Ball”) from 1 to 25.
3. Add the Megaplier (Optional).
For an extra fee, you can multiply most non‐jackpot prizes.
4. Check the Draw
Mega Millions draws take place on Tuesday and Friday nights. Match some or all winning numbers to receive a prize; match all five plus the Mega Ball to win the jackpot.
5. Play Responsibly
Set a budget and play for fun. Remember, the lottery is a game of chance, and there’s no guarantee of winning.

Mega Millions is played in 45 U.S. states, plus Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands, making for 47 participating jurisdictions. Drawings occur twice a week—every Tuesday and Friday night. It originated in 1996 as “The Big Game” and was renamed “Mega Millions” in 2002.
Each basic ticket costs $2 per play (or $3 if you add the Megaplier option).
